Considering homeschooling?
We have a group that can help!

There are a number of reasons to choose to school your kids at home and there are a ton of ways to do it! So many that it can be overwhelming!
Sometimes it can help just to talk to someone who has tried it, failed in some ways, overcome in others, survived a week, etc.
The Homesteaders is a homeschool support group that encourages, offers advice on curriculum, coordinates a few classes, plans field trips, and listens.
Visit our facebook page to ask a question or to get an idea of field trips.
Contact Kathy McFeaters by email.
Call the church office at 607-566-2077.

We do appreciate our public school system! We are very much aware that each family will need to make choices on how they carry out the responsibility that God has given parents to “bring them [their children] up in the training and admonition of the Lord.”(Ephesians 6:4 NKJV)
Many of us are choosing to homeschool because we feel that parents are best able to do this training with their children at home. This allows us to choose the curriculum and even center it around Jesus Christ and Biblical principles. That’s our focus!
We can, however, help even if that isn’t your focus. Looking forward to hearing from you.
