*End of Year Giving
We do appreciate that so many of you give faithfully to support the ministry of the church! God’s money that you give helps to support our missionaries around the world, to provide Sunday School and Jr. Church curriculum to strengthen the faith of our children, to keep the lights & heat on for Seniors luncheons, to pay for the insurance for the building, and to make available gospels of John for people to hand out.
As you consider your year end giving; thank you for thinking of investing it here. It would be most helpful if you could have it in by Sunday, Dec. 25 but a postmarked contribution by Saturday, Dec. 31 will work. You may also use our electronic giving options although fees are subtracted to cover processing.
Online. The easiest link is found on our homepage: www.FirstBaptistAvoca.org
Text an amount to 607-229-1995. Your first time you will be sent a link to register your information.
App. With your location services turned on, download the EasyTithe app, search for Avoca or 14809, choose our church, enter your information and contribute.
If you have any questions, please feel free to talk to, email or call Pastor Bill.

~New Years Eve Gathering. After the New Years Eve Service, teens and young adults are invited to celebrate together with some bowling and food and fellowship at the church to welcome the new year. Ladies Retreat
It’s time to get ready for our Ladies Retreat. This year’s theme is, “Our Joy Is In The Lord” and will be held at the Linck Hill Inn on Feb. 23-25, 2018. Total cost is $155 per person. Registration forms are on the table by the sign-up bulletin board. See Vanessa Obrochta with questions.

Christmas Card Tree
We would like to encourage you to use the Card Tree in the Narthex to give your greetings to the entire congregation. The money saved on cards and postage can be designated for our missionaries by using one of the pew envelopes.

*Pastor’s Christmas
We are collecting offerings for a Christmas Fund for our Pastors. Anyone who would like to participate can put their donation in the offering box with a note that it is for Pastor’s Christmas. All monies are due TODAY, Sunday, December 10th. Contact Aaron Mullen with questions.

Thank You
