True Warrior Martial Arts

True Warrior Martial Arts

teaching fitness,

self-defense, character.

We teach primarily Chung Do Kwon, i.e. "The Blue Wave.". This is a "hard" style of Tae Kwon Do. Not that it is difficult to learn but that it is defined by quick, snap-like movements and muscle tension. An example of a "soft" style of martial arts would be Tai Chi, which is very graceful. Many forms of Kung Fu are Hard/Soft style combinations.

We stress practicing without making contact with one another except for light blocking. We do use practice bags and tools to make sure that our contact is solid and targeted.
